Welcome to Coastal Dish: Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort Updates On-Site Restaurant

One of the best parts of spending your vacation in the convenience of a beach resort is that you don’t even have to leave the premises to experience a complete and fulfilling getaway. From playing and lounging on the sand at the beach to exercising in the on-site workout facilities to renting bikes and enjoying swimming pools and more, vacation is just easier at a resort! Taking this convenience one step further, Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort also has on-site food and beverage options, including Starbucks, The Deck Tiki Bar, and our newly-renovated restaurant, Coastal Dish Lowcountry Dining.

Coastal Dish can be found in the same place as our previous restaurant, Webster’s, and has undergone construction and design updates, as well as a reboot of the dinner menu. With a focus on family-friendly atmosphere and Lowcountry cuisine, you’ll find a wide variety of culinary options. Choose from appetizers like Coastal Nachos topped with BBQ chicken and the works, Pimento Cheese-Stuffed Jalopenos, and unique starters like Chicken Fried Bacon with Pepper Gravy or Hushpuppied Shrimp with Comeback Sauce. Entrees are impressive as well and feature a range of seafood options like Fried Flounder and Shrimp, Shrimp and Grits, Swordfish, and more. Food selections from the land include slow braised Lamb Ribs, Lowcountry BBQ, and Chicken Alfredo among other favorites. Choose accompanying sides that include macaroni and cheese, french fries, creamed spinach, lima beans, rive and gravy, cole slaw, and more!

If you’re looking for something lighter, Coastal Dish offers a variety of salad and sandwich options. From the Blackened Chicken Cobb to the Coastal Caesar, there’s an option for all salad lovers. Likewise, diners will find a wide range of sandwiches, including our Lowcountry Crab Cake Sandwich, Coastal Burger, Pulled Pork Sandwich, Shrimp Po’ Boy, and much more!

If you’re looking to grab something quick and return to your condo, be sure to browse our delicious pizza menu, where you can order a customized pie made with our delicious house-made red sauce.

In addition to our new, exciting dinner menu, Coastal Dish will continue to serve breakfast daily, with a full buffet spread, including morning meal favorites like omelets, grits, eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, fresh fruit, pastries, juice, and coffee. Breakfast hours are from 6 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday-Saturday, and from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Sundays, so stop by for a quick fill-up before heading for an amazing Pawleys Island beach day!

If you’re tired of shopping and spending time indoors, don’t worry! When you vacation in the Pawleys Island and Litchfield Beach areas, you’re sure to be within reach of a phenomenal outdoor excursion. With a variety of inlets, rivers, lakes, and of course the Atlantic Ocean nearby, the outdoor adventurer will love all of the options available during your next beach escape!

Visit Surf the Earth in Pawleys Island, South Carolina for all of your Lowcountry outdoor needs! Not only does this local shop offer up retail items like t-shirts and hats, but Surf the Earth also features a variety of equipment rentals, as well as thrilling tours of the area. Take your pick from paddle boards, kayaks, surfboards, bodyboards, and skimboards if you’re looking to rent by the day.

If you’re not quite ready to tame the waves on your own, check out Surf the Earth’s various surf education opportunities. The shop offers 2-hour surf lessons on mornings from 9am to 11am. Lessons take place near 2nd Street in Pawleys Island, but special locations can be arranged in advance. The shop also offers 3-day and 5-day kids’ surf camps, where kids of all ages can learn about water safety, rip currents, wind strength and direction, surfing fundamentals, surf conditions, and much more.

Beyond board rentals and surf lessons, Surf the Earth also offers guests the chance to explore the area through their exciting eco-tours. Current offerings include Sunset/Moon Rise Tours through the Pawleys Island inlets and salt marsh, Early morning kayak and paddle board tours of the salt marsh, and afternoon paddle board tours of the area. If biking is more your speed, take advantage of the bike rentals offered by Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort, and then head over to Bike the Neck! The Waccamaw Neck Bikeway is a 12-mile paved stretch that parallels U.S. Highway 17 from Murrells Inlet to Huntington Beach State Park. Rated as being an “Easy” trail by SCtrails.com, this bikeway is the perfect way to have a great time exercising while seeing the beautiful natural landscape of the region. Finish off your trek by stopping by Huntington Beach State Park, where you can visit its timeless castle, Atalaya, stroll on the pristine beaches of the park, explore the nature trails in the park, or even get in some birding!

The MarshWalk

The MarshWalk is a 1/2 mile stretch of shopping and dining establishments that hug the inlet, giving visitors an outstanding view of the natural beauty of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. Throughout the Summer, you’ll find live music nightly at a majority of the restaurants along the MarshWalk, and conveniently, many of them feature bands or live-shows year-round as well. The history of the Hot Fish Club dates back to the late 1700s, when the planters of All Saints Parish founded a social club that was dedicated to gourmet foods, strong drinks, and festive times. Though it has since been relocated away from the shifting shores of Huntington Beach, visitors can find the Hot Fish Club off of Highway 17 Business in Murrells Inlet. Still a place for lively gatherings, this establishment features live performances from a variety of musical acts throughout the year. Pawleys Island Tavern

Take your beach vacation off the beaten path when you visit Pawleys Island Tavern, a local favorite tucked away in the woods behind the Island Shops. Affectionately known by regulars as the PIT, Pawleys Island Tavern combines the eclectic feel of an old-timey juke joint with laid-back feel of a creekside seafood hut. The PIT features live music on the weekends, as well as a wide-range of events and performances throughout the year. Stop by for live entertainment on Thursdays and Sundays from 8pm to midnight and on Fridays and Saturdays from 9pm to 1am.
