Tradition ClubTradition Golf Club opened in 1996 and was immediately nominated for the distinction of “Best New Public Course” by Golf Digest. It was named to the “Top Fairways” list by Golf For Women in 1998 and has stood up since, maintaining a rating of 4.5 Stars on Golf Digest’s “Places To Play” list. Two island greens, waste areas and flowing fairways keep players on their toes for 18 holes and beckon them back soon after their appointed rounds are done. An expansive practice facility also makes Tradition an excellent place to work on one’s game.
Willbrook PlantationWillbrook Plantation sits on a varied, gorgeous tract of land in the Litchfield area of Pawleys Island. A quintessential Lowcountry golf course, it takes visitors on a journey around moss-draped live oaks, coastal wetlands and tall pines. That journey, though not without its peril, is very manageable for all levels of player. Ranked #25 on Golf For Women Magazine’s “Top 50 Courses for Women” list, the staff at Willbrook take particular pride on the exceptional playability of their course.
Litchfield Country ClubAwarded 4.5 Stars by Golf Digest on the magazine’s 2009 “Places To Play” list, Litchfield Country Club has a thoroughly warm, old-school feeling that transports golfers to a simpler time while still delivering a modern, high quality of conditioning and customer service. Mature tree-lined fairways wind amid giant, Spanish moss-draped oaks and sparkling lakes on the grounds of a former rice plantation. The course dates to 1966 and has held up due to its fair, enduring demands on ball-striking.
