Come cheer on the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, now affiliated with the Texas Rangers.
The BB&T Coastal Field has Field Boxes, Reserved Boxes, Grand Strand Seats, and a Budweiser Thirst Inning Deck. One of the most talked about areas of the stadium is the unique beach seating. This area is available for private company outings, family reunions, parties or any other special occasion for up to 120 people. You will sit under the palm trees with your feet up in Lack’s lounge chairs while sipping on a beverage from your private bar. Baseball fans can enjoy the field – level view down the left field line in an area next to the visiting bullpen. They also have a picnic area where you can enjoy an all-you-can eat buffet while watching the top prospects in professional baseball shine on the field.
If you want to enjoy the game in a luxury suite, you can rent one for your group. You will enjoy 4 VIP parking passes, your groups name in lights on the BB&T Coastal Field scoreboard and announced over the PA System. Promotional items for the evening placed in your suite the night of the game. Air conditioning, indoor & outdoor seating, 42” high-definition plasma television, complimentary game programs & stat packets. Food and beverage is available at additional costs right to your suite. They also offer birthday bash packages, Field of Dreams for kids 12 and under and so much more.
Be prepared to have a lot of fun. Not only watching the game, but there is tons of excitement all night long. In between each inning there is some sort of fan interaction. Whether it is guessing a trivia question for a prize, playing one of the silly games on the field or watching the mascots entertain the audience.
When you come to the games, not only will you meet Splash, the official mascot of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, but you will meet Duece and the Rally Shark too. Splash is Now 11 years old, and is the clown of the ballpark. He has twice been ejected from games at BB&T Coastal Field, but his lovable look always compels Carolina League umpires to forgive him. Splash warns fans to always keep an eye on their food and drinks as he's always looking to sneak some ballpark goodies. If a hot dog comes up missing, check the big beak. It might just be hiding in there! He also reminds fans to bring their cameras to the game. The minute you take out your camera, Splash will be ready with his signature big smile. Splash's flock is huge, and it's getting bigger everyday. All of the kids along the Grand Strand are diehard Splash fans, but Splash isn't just for them. It's the young and the young at heart that show their love for Splash and catch him at each and every Pelicans home game.
Deucestepped into his role in 2010 as the Pelicans' on-field best friend fresh off a successful '09 season. Part bat boy, part ball caddy, and all fun, Deuce has been active at Pelicans games since the 2008 season. The English yellow lab has mastered the art of delivering new balls to the Carolina League's finest umpires as well as his postgame victory lap around the bases. When he's not performing at Pelicans games, Deuce can be found napping either at home or in the Pelicans front office.
Rally Sharkcame to the Pelicans in 2008 to add some excitement to the late innings of ballgames at BB&T Coastal Field. This highly streamlined, cartilaginous Pelicans fan lives below the left field bleachers to be close to the visiting clubhouse where he can easily taunt opponents.
Rally surfaces when the Pelicans hit a home run or score a run late to send the fans into a frenzy. He loves signing autographs, throwing things into the stands, and he's been known to take his shirt off and run around the outfield from time to time (though the Pelicans discourage such behavior). Rally is most proud of his dorsal fin and dreams of showcasing his dance moves in a made-for-Broadway interpretive-dance remake of "Jaws" someday.

Team Tuesday- Tuesdays are again Team Tuesdays at the ballpark with the Pelicans bringing back their popular team poster series for weekly Tuesday giveaways in 2011. Fans will also have chances at special ticket promotions from Kraft Singles and BI-LO for Tuesday games.
Wiener Wednesday- There's no better way to get ready for the Pelicans' immensely popular Thirsty Thursdays than by downing the all-American ballpark item in its most affordable form on Wednesday. "Wiener Wednesdays" feature one-dollar Hebrew National hot dogs all game long.
Thirsty Thursday- The crown prince of all Minor League Baseball promotional nights, Thirsty Thursday is back for another season in 2011.
