Beach, Boogie & BBQ Festival Heats Up Myrtle Beach
Beach, Boogie & BBQ Festival Heats Up Myrtle Beach
Come to Myrtle Beach for the 6th Annual Beach, Boogie & BBQ Festival September 2-4, 2011. The family-friendly festival is a Sun fun Celebration packed with free live entertainment, wake board demonstrations, free boat rides plus celebrity chef Richard Blais – winner of Bravo TV’s Top Chef: All Stars, will on hand. The festival will be located at Grand Park at Market Common.
The main attraction of the event, of course, is the delicious BBQ served from food vendors and competitors. Attendees can sample barbeque from all competing teams in Saturday beginning at 12pm by purchasing a $10 wristband. Kids 10 and under can sample for free. A wide variety of wings will be available on Sunday and there will also be a wing eating contest. Kids will participate in a watermelon eating contest following the wing competition. There are three major cooking events taking place during Myrtle Beach’s Beach, Boogie & BBQ, including “Anything Goes Contest and Tasting” on Friday, the “Official South Caroline Barbeque Championship” and “Kansas City Barbeque Society Cook-off” on Saturday. Prizes will be awarded in each category.
