Right here in Myrtle Beach, you need to experience the Sea Screamer Dolphin Cruises.
On the Waterfront, Little River, SC. Enjoy a relaxing scenic tour of the Intracoastal Waterway where the captain offers a few historical tidbits along the way. The most interesting sight is the area where the waterway meets the ocean. Here you will see many smaller boasts parked on a sandbar/peninsula and are enjoy utterly unspoiled beach terrain, fishing, etc. Before you know it you are screaming out to sea speeding into the ocean for a wet and wild excursion aboard the 149-passenger open-air boat that seems to fly across the Atlantic.
The boat is very powerful, after a couple of minutes the Sea Screamer slows down so it can tailgate some shrimp trawlers. This is where the dolpins are seen, following the shrimp boats. Then you will cruise south for a while as fast as the boat will take you.
Be prepared to get wet too! This is such an exciting adventure, you will be telling your friends to make sure and go. The coolest thing is that we got to see a baby dolphin trying to keep up with his parents. Too cute and quite priceless.
